A Colorado Movement to Support Teachers and Schools

At Daddy’s Homemade Syrup, we believe love is something you pour forward.

After the tragedy at Evergreen High School and with tightening school budgets on the horizon, we knew our teachers and staff needed more than words — they needed to feel seen, valued, and supported.

That’s how Pour Love Forward was born — a community-driven campaign to show appreciation for educators while rallying Colorado businesses and nonprofits to join in support, not just after tragedy but year round.

What Is Pour Love Forward?

Pour Love Forward is our way of giving back to the people who pour so much love into our kids every single day.

We’re starting in Evergreen, expanding through Jefferson County’s 145 schools, and growing statewide.

Each teacher and staff member will receive a “Sweet Thanks” pack that includes:

• A 6 oz. jar of Daddy’s Homemade All-Natural Syrup, made right here in Evergreen, CO

• A handwritten card of appreciation or inspiration
  

• Essential classroom supplies

• Gift cards to local coffee shops/restaurants 

It’s a simple, heartfelt way to say thank you — and remind educators that their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

Why It Matters

Our teachers are carrying so much — navigating tighter budgets, bigger classrooms, and the emotional toll of recent years.

With Jeffco Public Schools recently sharing updates on upcoming budget cuts and funding challenges (view here), many educators are preparing to do more with less. It’s a difficult season for schools — but it’s also a chance for our communities to step up.

That’s what Pour Love Forward is all about: getting ahead of the need, building partnerships before next school year begins, and ensuring teachers and staff feel appreciated, inspired, and equipped when they return to their classrooms.

They’re the ones pouring love into our kids every single day — and now, we have the opportunity to pour some of that love back into them.

How You Can Help

It takes a village to pour love forward — and we’d love for you to be part of it.

Whether you’re a local business, community organization, or individual, there are so many ways to get involved and make a real difference for Colorado’s teachers and schools.

You can help by:

• Donating School Supplies: Provide essential items teachers need to start the year strong. (Think notebooks, pencils, markers, cleaning supplies — even tissues and snacks!)

• Providing Gift Cards or Local Treats: Partner with us to add small local restaurant or coffee shop gift cards that brighten a teacher’s day.

• Sponsoring a Classroom or School: Help fund entire “Sweet Thanks” packs for one school, grade level, or district.

• Becoming a Corporate Partner: Join us as a community partner to sponsor the Pour Love Forward campaign or contribute through your company’s giving program.

• Spreading the Word: Share our story on social media, in your business, or with anyone who believes in supporting Colorado educators.

Every act of generosity — big or small — helps ensure teachers feel appreciated, inspired, and equipped when the next school year begins.

The Vision

What begins in Evergreen will expand across Jefferson County — and, with enough community support, across Colorado.

We believe this can grow into something beautiful: a tradition of appreciation and love that connects communities, inspires gratitude, and strengthens the bonds between families, schools, and local businesses.
